ST. LAWRENCE STRING ENSEMBLE SETS CONCERT

CANTON – The St. Lawrence University String Ensemble will perform in 
concert on Sunday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel 
on campus. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
	The group is a string chamber orchestra which includes community 
and staff members as well as students, performing a diverse 
assortment of styles, including music from classical, baroque and 
contemporary genres. In this concert, the ensemble will perform 
music from movies, as well as works by John Williams, James Horner, 
Howard Shore and Jerry Goldsmith. The director is Christian Hosmer.
