SHENANDOAH SHAKESPEARE SETS SLU SHOWS

CANTON -- The Shenandoah Shakespeare company will perform As You 
Like It, Romeo And Juliet and The Winter's Tale while at St. Lawrence 
University from October 22  through 28. Tickets for all performances 
may be purchased for $3, at the E.J. Noble University Center and Brewer 
Bookstore at St. Lawrence.
        Praised by critics for "blowing the cobwebs out of Elizabethan 
drama," Shenandoah Shakespeare delights audiences at home and abroad 
with a fresh, energetic approach to Shakespeare. The company has presented 
fall performances at St. Lawrence for many years.
        Performances will be in the Common Room of Sykes Residence Hall, 
as follows:
        - Monday, October 22, As You Like It, 7:30 p.m.
        - Wednesday, October 24, Romeo And Juliet, 7:30 p.m.
        - Thursday, October 25, The Winter's Tale, 7:30 p.m.
        - Friday, October 26, Romeo And Juliet, 7:30 p.m.
        - Friday, October 26, As You Like It, midnight
        - Saturday, October 27, As You Like It, 7:30 p.m.
        - Sunday, October 28, As You Like It, 1 p.m. (special children's matinee)
	On Saturday, October 27, the group will give a free demonstration 
at the Canton Public Library at 11 a.m. For more information, contact the
