Music From Everyday Objects Focus Of 'Soundsandbox' At SLU

CANTON - The Soundsandbox ensemble, directed by In-Sil Yoo and Timothy Hill, will give a performance on Thursday, April 24, at 8 p.m. in The Underground, Noble University Center, at St. Lawrence University. The event is open to the public, free of charge.

The directors state, "The focus of this ensemble is to make music out of everyday objects with a focus on rhythm, as well as to use unconventional means of musical expression and composition. It is open to all who want to explore the innate musician in each of us. We'll share our group's journey of learning, creating, questioning, exploring and inspiring each other as we make music together in our first concert."
