STUDENT VOCAL GROUPS SAINTS AND SINNERS PLAN SLU CONCERT

CANTON - Student a capella vocal groups the Saints and Sinners will 
hold their final concert of the academic year on Saturday, May 4, at 
7 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel on campus. The event is open to 
the public, free of charge.
	The spring concert features songs in a variety of styles, 
and the groups' annual farewell to the Senior Class.
	The men's group, the Saints, evolved from a vocal quartet 
first formed in 1950. They became an octet in 1952 and a "triple-quartet" 
in 1954. The women's group, the Sinners, was founded later in the 
1950's. Both groups perform often during the school year, on campus 
and off, and have recorded a number of albums.
