LAURIE SIMPSON HIRED IN DONOR RELATIONS AT SLU

CANTON - Laurie A. Simpson, of Massena, has been appointed assistant 
director of donor relations at St. Lawrence University. She began her 
duties August 5.
	A graduate of SUNY Potsdam, Simpson was St. Lawrence County 
campaign associate for the United Way of Northern New York from 
2001 until she began work at the University. Previously, she was a 
customer relations representative with HSBC Bank USA in Potsdam.
	At St. Lawrence, Simpson be responsible for gift stewardship 
and will assist Director of Donor Relations Katrina Johnson in 
organizing events involving alumni, both on- and off-campus.
