SLU HOSTS SHENANDOAH SHAKESPEARE

CANTON - The Shenandoah Shakespeare company will perform Much Ado About Nothing, Richard III and Return to the Forbidden Planet at St. Lawrence University, October 24 through 30. Tickets for all performances may be purchased for $3, at the information desk in the Student Center and Brewer Bookstore.

Praised by critics for "blowing the cobwebs out of Elizabethan drama," Shenandoah Shakespeare delights audiences at home and abroad with a fresh, energetic approach to Shakespeare. The company has presented fall performances at St. Lawrence for many years.

All performances will be on campus in Eben Holden, as follows:
- Monday, October 24, Much Ado About Nothing, 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 26, Return to the Forbidden Planet, 7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, October 27, Richard III, 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, October 28, Much Ado About Nothing, 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, October 29, Richard III, 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, October 29, Return to the Forbidden Planet, midnight
- Sunday, October 30, Return to the Forbidden Planet, 1:30 p.m.
