SHENANDOAH SHAKESPEARE TO PERFORM AT SLU

CANTON – The Shenandoah Shakespeare company will perform Twelfth Night, 
Measure for Measure and Oliver Goldsmith's She Stoops to Conquer at St. Lawrence 
University, October 25 through 31. Tickets for all performances may be 
purchased for $3, at the information desk in the Student Center and Brewer 
Bookstore, beginning on Monday, October 4, for students, faculty and staff, 
and on Wednesday, October 6, for the general public.
      Praised by critics for "blowing the cobwebs out of Elizabethan drama," 
Shenandoah Shakespeare delights audiences at home and abroad with a fresh, 
energetic approach to Shakespeare. The company has presented fall performances 
at St. Lawrence for many years.
	All performances will be on campus in Eben Holden, as follows:
	- Monday, October 25, 7:30 p.m., Twelfth Night
	- Tuesday, October 26, 7:30 p.m., Measure for Measure
	- Thursday, October 28, 7:30 p.m., She Stoops to Conquer
	- Friday, October 29, 7:30 p.m., Twelfth Night
	- Saturday, October 30, 7:30 p.m., Measure for Measure
	- Saturday, October 30, midnight, Twelfth Night
	- Sunday, October 31, 1:30 p.m., Twelfth Night, children's "reduced text" matinee
