ALUMNI REUNION AT SLU MAY 31-JUNE 3

CANTON - A variety of educational, recreational and social events 
are planned for Alumni Reunion Weekend at St. Lawrence University, 
May 31 through June 3. Over 1,000 people are expected to attend.
Seminars with University faculty, staff and alumni are planned throughout 
the weekend, in addition to campus tours, a talk by President Daniel 
F. Sullivan, trips to area attractions and the traditional Parade of 
Classes.
        On Saturday, Alumni Citations will be awarded to:
        - Gerald Benjamin '65, of New Paltz, New York, dean of the 
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at SUNY New Paltz
	- Daniel Berggren '71, of Fredonia, New York, a musical 
performer and radio host
	- Andrew Ewing '79, of State College, Pennsylvania, professor 
of chemistry and adjunct professor of neuroscience and anatomy at 
Pennsylvania State University
	- Rose-Alma McDonald M'79, of Hogansburg, New York, a Native 
American education consultant and former official of Canada's education 
department
	Joseph Norton '40, of Albany, New York, retired from a position 
in psychology and counseling with SUNY Albany, will be awarded the Sol 
Feinstone Humanitarian Award for his work as a gay-rights advocate.
