ALUMNI REUNION WEEKEND AT SLU JUNE 5-8

CANTON - A variety of educational, recreational and social 
events are planned for Alumni Reunion Weekend at St. Lawrence 
University, June 5 through 8 on campus.  Over 1,000 people 
are expected to attend.
	Seminars with University faculty, staff and alumni 
are planned throughout the weekend, in addition to campus 
tours, a talk by President Daniel F. Sullivan, trips to area 
attractions and the traditional Parade of Classes.
	On Saturday, June 7, Alumni Citations will be awarded 
to Gregory Carman '58, chief judge of the United States Court 
of International Trade in New York; John Van de Water '61, 
dean of International Programs and director of International 
Education at Oregon State University in Corvallis; Judith 
Howe '72, associate professor in the Brookdale Department 
of Geriatrics and Adult Development at the Mount Sinai School 
of Medicine in New York; and Susan Lyndaker Lindsey '78, 
a native of Beaver Falls who is executive director of the 
Wild Canid Research Center in Eureka, Missouri. In addition, 
Thomas Carey '67, director of the Cell Biology and Immunology 
Laboratory at the Kresge Hearing Research Institute, 
University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, will receive the Sol 
Feinstone Humanitarian Award. Donald Sohn '48, president of 
the New Horizons Project, a non-profit operating foundation 
in Cambridge, Massachusetts, will receive the Manley Society 
Recognition Award.
