Psych. Professor's Research Cited in National Media

Research conducted by Pamela Thacher, associate professor of psychology, on the effects of cluttered living, or hoarding, on sleep habits was featured in the Huffington Post and U.S. News and World Report, among others.

Thacher concluded that the more people hoard, the more likely they are to develop sleep disorders. She presented her research, with the assistance of her then-student researcher Alexis Reinheimer '15, at the 2015 Sleep Conference in Seattle.
