In SLU's Brush Gallery, 'Pocahontas Meets Hello Kitty'
CANTON - "Pocahontas Meets Hello Kitty," a portfolio of prints from 38 artists
inviting viewers to consider new ways of looking at Native American and
Asian/Asian-American women in history, will be on exhibition in the Richard F.
Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence University from January 21 through February 28.
Organized by artist Melanie Yazzie, the exchange portfolio of prints examines the

exploring what being a Native woman means in contemporary society.
The project was supported by the Southern Graphics Council and the University of Kansas.
