PROGRESSIVE CHRISTIAN WORSHIP SERVICES SET FOR SUMMER AT SLU

CANTON – St. Lawrence University Associate Chaplain Shaun D. Whitehead 
will lead Progressive Christian Worship services in Gunnison Memorial Chapel 
on campus throughout the spring and summer, and all members of the community 
are welcome to participate.
	Services will be held each Sunday, from May 23 through August 29, 
at 5 p.m. Offered in the African-American tradition, the services feature 
gospel music and praise music, as well as reflections offered by various 
worship leaders. 
	The recipient of a 2003 Master of Divinity degree from McCormick 
Theological Seminary in Chicago, Whitehead came to St. Lawrence in the fall 
of 2003, and has earned awards for worship and leadership in communities.
