Music From Scandinavia Offered In Noon Organ Recital At St. Lawrence

CANTON - "Organ Composers of Scandinavia" is the theme for the next organ recital at the lunch hour in St. Lawrence University's Gunnison Memorial Chapel, featuring Musician-in-Residence Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, January 28. Parking is available adjacent to the chapel.

Those attending are encouraged to bring their lunch to eat while enjoying the music.

Music of the 18th and 19th centuries, from the organ composers of Sweden, Denmark and Finland will form the program, including works by Oskar Lindberg, Niels W. Gade and Hinrich Philip Johnsen.
