First 'Noon In The Chapel' Recital At SLU Sept. 25

CANTON - The first in a series of free "noon in the chapel" recitals will be held on Friday, September 25, at 12:15 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel at St. Lawrence University. The recitals are open to the public and those attending are encouraged to bring a lunch to enjoy along with the performances.

This event will feature music for Rosh Hashanah (September 19) and Yom Kippur (September 28). Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, organist-in-residence and conductor, will be joined by The Ad Hoc Singers, Alexandra Jacobs, Lansing Larraway, David Norenberg, Julia Pomainville and Laura Ramsey, plus Laura Rediehs on flute and Corinne Duda on clarinet. They will perform music by Bloch, Berlinski and others.
