Noon in the Chapel to Celebrate Organ Masters
St. Lawrence University’s Noon in the Chapel will continue its 2017-18 concert series by performing Organ Masters I. The performance, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, in Gunnison Memorial Chapel.
The concert will feature Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, St. Lawrence’s organist and musician-in-residence who will play the 1926 Estey Pipe Organ, as well as Abigail Evens ’20 of Essex Junction, Vermont, on the violin. They will perform together the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Marcel Dupré and Jean Langlais.
Parking for chapel events will be in H-Lot, across from Griffiths Arts Center and next to Vilas Hall. There also will be a drop-off location and limited handicapped parking spaces in front of Richardson Hall and at the front of the chapel.
