DAVID NETZ HIRED AS SLU PHOTO MANAGER

CANTON - David F. Netz, of Canton, has been named photo collection 
manager for the University communications department at St. Lawrence 
University, beginning July 8. 
	Netz, who has a bachelor's degree and master's degree from 
the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, will be responsible for 
processing newly created photography and incorporating it into the 
collection, as well as creating records, collecting and organizing 
relevant documentation; cataloging images to a database; and 
assisting in locating photography for promotional materials, publicity, 
exhibits and gifts.
	An assistant director of career services and leadership 
education at St. Lawrence for the past academic year, Netz has also 
been an information technology project manager and an assistant 
director of community investment at United Way of Schenectady County; 
residence life coordinator at Union College and residence hall 
director at SUNY Geneseo.
