LAURENTIAN SINGERS TOUR PUERTO RICO; HOME CONCERT MARCH 27

CANTON – The Laurentian Singers are touring Puerto Rico during spring break, 
and will perform a home concert on Saturday, March 27, at 8 p.m. in Gunnison 
Memorial Chapel at St. Lawrence University after their return. The event is 
open to the public, free of charge.
	The program, which is the same one performed on the tour, includes 
classical selections by Gabriel Fauré and Sergei Rachmaninoff; works by 
American composers from the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson to Ralph Vaughn 
Williams; traditional Puerto Rican music and songs of St. Lawrence.
	Formed in 1946, the Laurentian Singers is a mixed-voice choir that 
has toured extensively throughout the eastern United States, as well as 
Canada, Europe, Central and South America, Romania and Russia. This year's 
tour is supported by the Christie Family Laurentian Singers Endowment.
