SLU PROF'S SCULPTURE TO BE EXHIBITED IN TEXAS

CANTON - A sculpture by St. Lawrence University Flint Professor 
of Fine Arts J. Michael Lowe, titled "Two Feet Square," has been 
selected for inclusion in the 33rd Annual National Drawing and 
Small Sculpture Show, to be held at Del Mar College in Corpus 
Christi, Texas, April 2 through 30.
	Pieces for the nationally competitive exhibition were 
selected by artist Susan Shatter, recipient of two National 
Endowment for the Arts grants, a New York State Foundation for 
the Arts grant and other awards. Her paintings are in many public 
collections.
	A native of Ohio, Lowe joined the St. Lawrence faculty in 1966. 
He is a graduate of Ohio University and received the Master of Fine 
Arts degree from Cornell University. Lowe has exhibited art works 
throughout the United States and has won a number of awards for his work.
