SLU PROF'S SCULPTURE IN NORTH DAKOTA EXHIBITION

CANTON - A sculpture by St. Lawrence University Professor 
of Fine Arts J. Michael Lowe, entitled "Three Points," has 
been selected for inclusion in the Americas 2000 exhibition 
at the Northwest Art Center in Minot, North Dakota.
	The nationally competitive exhibition will be held at 
Minot State University from August 20 to September 30 of this 
year. Selections for the exhibition were made by Laurel J. Reuter, 
director of the North Dakota Museum of Art.
	Another piece by Lowe, "Fold #3," was included in last 
year's Americas 2000 exhibition. A native of Ohio, Lowe joined 
the St. Lawrence faculty in 1966. He is a graduate of Ohio 
University and received the Master of Fine Arts degree from 
Cornell University. Lowe has exhibited art works throughout 
the United States and has won a number of awards for his work.
