'LESBIANS OF LAUGHTER' AT SLU FEB. 23

CANTON - The "Lesbians of Laughter" comedy tour will be at St. Lawrence University on Friday, February 23, at 9 p.m. in the Winston Room of the Student Center; the event is open to the public, free of charge.

Before joining together as the "Lesbians of Laughter," the four comedians - Deborah Eisner, Elisabeth A. Furtado, Jackie Monahan and Lisa Kaplan - worked separately in comedy venues around the country. The "LOL" tour began in Philadelphia in 2006 and features "not just lesbian humor, but a whole outlook on life" from the four women.
