CHINESE HEALTH & HEALING TOPIC OF SLU TALK

CANTON – Livia Kohn, professor of religion at Boston University, will 
give a public lecture about health and healing from a Chinese 
perspective on Wednesday, April 7, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Hepburn 
Hall (Room 218) at St. Lawrence University. The event is open to the 
public, free of charge.
	"Seeing the Human Body: Sickness and Health in Traditional China" 
is the title of Kohn's talk. Author of the books Taoist Meditation and 
Longevity Techniques, Laughing at the Tao and Monastic Life in Medieval 
Daoism, Kohn teaches courses in Chinese and Japanese religion, Taoism, 
Zen Buddhism and Chinese medicine.
