Language Prof. Presented at Two Conferences

Alessandro Giardino, assistant professor of Italian and Francophone studies, presented at the Ischia International Festival of Philosophy from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1 in Ischia, Italy.

Giardino's presentation, titled "Il Caravaggio Napoletano, tra Religione Naturale e Spinta Comunitaria," complemented his February 2017 talk at the St. Lawrence Valley Associated Colleges' Gender, Sex and Sexuality Conference, titled "Caravaggio's Marginals."

The presentation for the Festival of Philosophy was delivered in Italian. His two presentations have led to an article that will be published in Theory in Action-The Journal of TSI  in the Fall 2017.
