CANTON - Raymond Kesner, professor of psychology at the University of Utah, will
present the 2007 Richard D. Church Lecture in Neuroscience at St. Lawrence
University on the topic "A Process Analysis of Memory Function in Animals and
Humans: The Role of the Hippocampus." The lecture, on Tuesday, October 16,
is at 8 p.m. in the Winston Room of the Student Center and is open to the public,

animal models paralleling mnemonic symptomatology in brain-damaged patients.
The Richard D. Church Lectureship
Fund in Neuroscience was established in 2006
by retired engineer Church, of Norwood, in honor of his scientific collaborations
with the late G. Atwood Manley, who graduated from St. Lawrence in 1916 and was
the long-time editor of the St. Lawrence Plaindealer; the late Class of 1952
