MUSICIAN KELLER WILLIAMS IN CONCERT AT SLU DEC. 9

CANTON - "An Evening With Keller Williams" will take place at St. Lawrence University on Friday, December 9, at 9 p.m. in Gulick Theatre, Noble Center. Tickets, at $8 for St. Lawrence students and $20 for the public, are on sale at the University's Student Center and Brewer Bookstore, plus Northern Music and Video in Potsdam.

Described as "one of today's most distinctive and impressive guitarists/singer-songwriters," Keller released his first performance DVD, Sight, earlier this year. A review of one of his recent shows stated, "This one-man band uses a pedal-operated recording device to record a section of music, then sets it on a loop, allowing him to play over it, expanding the sound with layer upon layer of intertwining rhythm and harmony. The freedom of expression and improvisation that follows is inspiring, and often mind-bending."
