JOHN K. DWIGHT ELECTED TO SLU BOARD OF TRUSTEES

CANTON - John K. Dwight, founder of Dwight Asset Management Company, a Burlington, Vermont-based investment advisory firm, has been elected to a six-year term on the Board of Trustees of St. Lawrence University. His term will begin July 1, 2007.

Since 1999, Dwight has served as a member of the board of directors and executive committee of the Chittenden Corporation in Vermont. In addition, he has been a member of the board of Old Mutual Asset Managers LLC, Old Mutual Holdings Inc., United Asset Management Companies, Vermont Financial Services Corporation and the Vermont Business Roundtable. A resident of Charlotte, Vermont, Dwight is a trustee of the Vermont Folklife Center and the Shelburne Museum and serves on the investment committee at St. Michael's College.

Dwight and his wife, Heather, are members of the St. Lawrence Parents' Committee and have hosted alumni and parent events at both their Vermont home and in New York. One of the Dwights' three daughters, Phoebe, is a member the Class of 2008 at St. Lawrence.
