Journalist, Memoirist Jennifer Brice In St. Lawrence Writers Series

CANTON - Author Jennifer Brice will speak and read from recent work in an appearance at St. Lawrence University on Thursday, September 25, at 8 p.m. in the Common Room of Sykes Residence Hall. The event, part of the St. Lawrence Writers Series, is open to the public, free of charge.

Brice is the author of Unlearning to Fly, a memoir about growing up in Alaska and learning to pilot a small plane, and The Last Settlers, a work of literary journalism about homesteaders in Alaska. Her work has appeared in such journals as the Gettysburg Review, Manoa and River Teeth. Brice teaches creative writing at Colgate University.
