History Prof. Proves Valuable Resource to Media on Turkey News

Howard Eissenstat, associate professor of history and an expert in Turkish affairs, was quoted by several national and international media outlets in recent weeks

Politico quoted Eissenstat in an article on the detention of citizens and foreign nationals in Turkey for wearing a particular T-Shirt.

France 24's article on relations between Turkey and Germany in the ongoing search for those involved with the 2016 coup attempt quoted Eissenstat as saying "Turkey needs Germany a lot more than Germany needs Turkey."
