LATIN-AMERICAN GUITAR RECITAL PLANNED AT SLU

CANTON -- Guitarist Pablo Cohen will perform a recital of 
Latin-American music at St. Lawrence University on Sunday, 
December 5, at 4 p.m. in the Gilbert Recital Hall, Griffiths 
Arts Center. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
	Cohen has participated in solo, ensemble and orchestral 
concerts in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Latin America and the 
Caribbean. He is a guitar professor at Ithaca College and Mansfield 
University in Pennsylvania, and is an affiliated artist at Cornell 
University. Cohen has received numerous prizes and awards for his 
performances and he recently received the Music Teachers National 
Association award for outstanding teaching.
	The recital at St. Lawrence includes works by Chick Corea 
and Heitor Villa-Lobos.
