New Members Sought For Gospel Choir At SLU

CANTON - The St. Lawrence University Gospel Choir is accepting new members and is especially interested in welcoming members from the community.

The choir rehearses weekly on Friday at 4:30 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel and sings each week for the Progressive Christian Worship Service, held every Sunday in the chapel at 5 p.m.

From February 21 through February 23, the fifth annual Gospel Music Workshop will be held, with leader William R. Hamilton, of the Grammy Award-nominated Chicago Mass Choir. The workshop culminates in a concert on Saturday, February 23, at 7 p.m. in the chapel. No auditions are required for the workshop, and attendance at the concert is open to all.
