SLU ALUMNUS TO SPEAK ON MAUI'S GEOLOGY

CANTON - "The Geology of Maui: A Personal Journey" is the title of a talk to be given by St. Lawrence University Class of 1978 graduate Gerald Ross on Tuesday, October 17, at 7 p.m. in Bloomer Auditorium, Brown Hall. The event is open to the public, free of charge.

Ross will discuss his experiences as a geologist and organic farmer on Kupa'a Farm in Kula, Hawaii. He formerly was a researcher with the Geological Survey of Canada in Calgary and is co-editor of GSA Today, a journal of the Geological Society of America.
