GEOFFREY MOLSON ELECTED ST. LAWRENCE TRUSTEE

CANTON - Geoffrey E. Molson, a 1992 graduate of St. Lawrence University, has been elected to a six-year term on the Board of Trustees, beginning July 1, 2006. Molson, of Evergreen, Colorado, is vice president of quality and distributor development for Molson Coors Brewing Co. Inc., of Golden, Colorado.

Molson represents the seventh generation of his family in the brewery business; the Molson Coors Brewing Company is the fifth-largest brewer in the world. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Molson has worked in the family business since 2000; prior to that, he was a management consultant with the Kalchas Group. He was a multifield major at St. Lawrence (Canadian studies and French) and earned a master's degree at Babson College. While a St. Lawrence undergraduate, he was a member of the tennis and ice hockey teams and the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Molson participated in the University program of study in France, and is married to Katherine B. Finn Molson, also a 1992 graduate of St. Lawrence.
