'OUTDOOR GEAR SWAP' PLANNED AT SLU
CANTON - Students in St. Lawrence University's Outdoor Program
have organized an "outdoor gear swap" for people to buy and sell
used outdoor equipment.
The event will be held on Thursday, April 22, from 5:30 to
7:30 p.m. in the Formal Lounge of the E.J. Noble University Center.
Anyone interested in selling equipment should bring items to the Formal
Lounge between 4 and 5 p.m., to be tagged. Unsold equipment must be
picked up after the sale, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Items not picked up
by that time will be considered donations to the Outdoor Program.
Equipment to be sold will include downhill, cross country and
telemark skis; canoes, packs, tents, sleeping bags, clothing and miscellaneous
field gear from manufacturers such as The North Face, Patagonia, Kelty,
JanSport, Eureka, Tua, Karhu and Peak I.
Firearms and climbing protection will not be accepted for the sale.
All sales are final; the Outdoor Program does not accept
responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged equipment.
