AMY FURGISON APPOINTED TO SLU POST

CANTON - Amy R. Furgison, of Ogdensburg, has been appointed 
assistant for community relations at St. Lawrence University. 
She will begin her full-time duties in the position in August.
	Furgison has been assistant director of alumni and parent 
programs at the University, a post she assumed earlier this year. 
She has also been director of college advancement at Mater Dei 
College in Ogdensburg and volunteer coordinator at the Frederic 
Remington Art Museum.
	In her new position, Furgison will assist in planning 
events on- and off-campus for University President Daniel F. Sullivan 
and Ann Sullivan, associate to the president for community relations. 
She is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam, and holds an associate's degree 
from SUNY Canton. Furgison is active as a volunteer for the Lisbon 
Central School system, Ogdensburg Command Performances and the 
Remington Museum.
