COMIC'S 'ALCOHOL INSANITY TOUR' COMES TO SLU

CANTON - A presentation by stand-up comic Wendi Fox on the 
dangers of alcohol abuse, called the "Alcohol Insanity Tour," 
will be given on Wednesday, March 24, at 7 p.m. in Gulick Theatre 
at St. Lawrence University. It is open to the public, free of charge.
	In the show, Fox comically shares her thoughts, experiences 
and personal opinions on how alcohol abuse has become "a national 
catastrophe." Drawing from her own experience of being raised in an 
alcoholic environment, Fox demonstrates the dangers of alcohol abuse. 
In addition to raising awareness of the problem, Fox also offers ideas 
about how to correct it, so that the next generation doesn't carry on 
the legacy of alcohol abuse.
	Fox has spent eight years traveling across the country as a 
stand-up comic, appearing at colleges and clubs and on television.
