St. Lawrence Alumnus, Physician, To Give Talk On Holistic Care

CANTON - St. Lawrence University Class of 1984 graduate Rudy Fedrizzi, an obstetrician/gynecologist in Ithaca, will give the Bersani Pre-Health Lecture on Wednesday, November 12, at 7 p.m. in Room 205-206 of Valentine Hall. Titled "Confessions of a Medical Heretic: An OB-GYN Contrasts the Conventional Medical Model of Care with a More Holistic Approach," the talk is open to the public, free of charge.

Fedrizzi earned his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, after earning his undergraduate degree in biology from St. Lawrence. Following a residency in gynecology and obstetrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he served in the United States Air Force Medical Corps. A partner in Every Woman's Care in Ithaca, he is a former director of the Northern New Mexico Women's Health and Birth Center in Taos.
