UNIVERSITY CHORUS SETS FALL CONCERTS

CANTON -- The University Chorus will perform in concert on Saturday, 
November 11, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 12, at 4 p.m. in Gunnison 
Memorial Chapel at St. Lawrence University. The concerts are open to 
the public, free of charge.
	Directed by Barry Torres, the performance will include Cantata 82, 
"Ich habe genug," by J.S. Bach, featuring baritone Gary Dahl and Glenn 
Guiles on oboe; and Requiem, Op. 9, by Maurice Duruflé, featuring Dahl, 
mezzo-soprano Nancy DeLong and organist Bette Kahler.
	Both pieces will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra, featuring 
members of the Orchestra of Northern New York and students from the Crane 
School of Music; Barbara Phillips-Farley is the accompanist for the Chorus.
	The University Chorus is sponsored by the music department at 
St. Lawrence University and draws its members from the entire North Country 
community.
