SLU'S FAMILY WEEKEND SEPTEMBER 28-30

CANTON - Family Weekend will be celebrated September 28 through 30 at St. Lawrence University, with a variety of academic, social and entertainment events planned for students and their families.

Among the weekend's highlights are tours of new facilities such as the Johnson Hall of Science and Newell Center for Arts Technology; a reception hosted by President Daniel F. Sullivan and Ann H. Sullivan at their home, MacAllaster House; ceremonies to induct new members into Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honorary society and Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society; a reception for honor students and their families, with presentations by student researchers; a concert by the Laurentian Singers; a 5K walk/run benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research; faculty and staff presentations and workshops; information sessions on the First-Year Program, international studies and student support services; and a question-and-answer session with President Sullivan.
