FAMILY WEEKEND AT SLU SEPTEMBER 23-25

CANTON - Family Weekend will be celebrated September 23 through 25 at St. Lawrence University, with a variety of academic, social and entertainment events planned for students and their families.

Among the weekend's highlights are a reception hosted by President Daniel F. Sullivan and Ann H. Sullivan at their home, MacAllaster House; ceremonies to induct new members into Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honorary society and Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society; a reception for honor students and their families, with presentations by student researchers; concerts by the Laurentian Singers, the Saints and the Sinners; a "Rally for the Cure" golf outing sponsored by the Panhellenic Council and benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research; faculty and staff presentations and workshops; information sessions on the First-Year Program, international studies and student support services; a presentation on St. Lawrence's Sesquicentennial celebration; and a question-and-answer session with President Sullivan.
