FACULTY WORK FEATURED IN OPENING EXHIBITION AT SLU GALLERY

CANTON -- Recent work by faculty members in St. Lawrence University's 
fine arts department will be featured in the first exhibition of the 
academic year at the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery on campus.
	The exhibition will be in the gallery from August 23 through 
September 15, and will include work by Roger Bailey, Guy Berard, 
J. Michael Lowe, Faye Serio, Linda Strauss and Obiora Udechukwu.
	Gallery discussions with the artists will be held on Monday, 
August 30, at 4:30 p.m. (Berard, Lowe and Udechukwu) and on Monday, 
September 6, at 4:30 p.m. (Bailey, Serio and Strauss).
	Also in the gallery, from August 23 to October 13, are UFO 
"pilgrimage" photographs by Bob DeBris, in an exhibition titled 
"The Road to Roswell." The exhibition includes photos from events 
surrounding the annual UFO Encounter Festival held in Roswell, New 
Mexico, as well as images of extraterrestrials in pop culture.
