English Prof. Co-Edits Volume on Willa Cather

Robert Thacker, Charles A. Dana professor of English and Canadian studies, co-edited a volume on Willa Cather, an American author who achieved recognition for her novels of frontier life on the Great Plains, including O Pioneers!, The Song of the Lark, and My Ántonia.

Thacker also wrote an essay, titled “‘Then a Great Man in American Art’: Willa Cather’s Frederic Remington,” which was featured in the book.

Thacker also published a chapter, titled “Short Fiction,” in the second edition of The Cambridge Companion to Canadian Literature.
