SLU EARLY MUSIC ENSEMBLE PLANS CONCERT

CANTON -- St. Lawrence University's Early Music Ensemble, including 
both the Early Music Singers and Early Music Players, will perform in 
concert on Sunday, December 10, at 4 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel 
on campus. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
	The Ensemble, using instruments from the University's Romer 
Collection, will perform music of England appropriate for the season, 
including medieval carols; consort music and motets of William Byrd; a 
Magnificat and Nunc Dimmitis by Henry Purcell; three instrumental settings 
of the popular Elizabethan tune "Browning," and more.
