SLU'S EARLY MUSIC ENSEMBLE SETS SPRING CONCERT

CANTON -- The Early Music Ensemble at St. Lawrence University will 
present a concert entitled "Mary Music," featuring the Early Music 
Singers performing chants to the Virgin Mary, as well as motets based 
on those chants.
	The concert will be on Sunday, May 5, at 4 p.m. in Gunnison 
Memorial Chapel on campus. The event is open to the public, free of 
charge.
	Music of Du Fay, Ockeghem, Lassus, Morales, Gombert and Aichinger 
is included in the concert. The singers will be joined by the Wind 
Players in canzonas by Frescobaldi and Gabrieli played on low recorders.
