A List 4/9/01 EARLY MUSIC ENSEMBLE PLAYERS OFFER CONCERT AT SLU CANTON -- The St. Lawrence University Early Music Ensemble Players will present an evening of Baroque trio sonatas for strings, recorders and flutes on Wednesday, April 11, at 8 p.m. in Gilbert Recital Hall, Griffiths Arts Center. The program will include works by Handel, Fasch, Prowo and Boismortier. It is open to the public, free of charge. The Handel trios Op. 2, nr. 4 in F major and Op.5 nr. 4 in G major will be played by violinists Susan Heberling, Anne Mamary and Adam Sullivan, with violist Carol Kissam. Recorder players Lynn Waickman and Lamar Bliss will be joined by Laura Rediehs on baroque flute for the Sonata in G major by Johann Friedrich Fasch. Waickman and Rediehs will also play Pierre Prowo's Sonata in C minor and a concerto for two solo flutes in E minor by Boismortier. Playing the basso continuo parts will be Ann Heidenreich and Mamary on the harpsichord and Chris Neurath on bass viol.
