A List 4/1/02 SLU PLANS PERFORMANCE OF BAROQUE MUSIC CANTON - The Early Music Ensemble at St. Lawrence University will perform a concert of Baroque music on Sunday, April 7, at 4 p.m. in Herring-Cole on campus. The event is open to the public, free of charge. The program includes selections by Johann Joachim Quantz (1697-1773), John Blow (1649-1708) and Georg Phillipp Telemann (1681-1767). The Early Music Ensemble, directed by Barry Torres, consists of students, faculty, staff and community members from throughout the North Country. The Early Music Players are Ann Heidenreich, harpsichord; Carol Kissam, violin; Anne Mamary, harpsichord and violin; Miranda O'Connor, violin; Chris Neurath, bass viol; Rachel Peterson, viola; Laura Rediehs, baroque flute; Kathryn Rodger, cello; Adam Sullivan, violin; and Lynn Waickman, alto recorder.
