EARLY MUSIC CONCERT SCHEDULED AT ST. LAWRENCE

CANTON -- St. Lawrence University's Early Music Ensemble and 
Early Music Singers will perform in concert on Friday, December 
10, at 8 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapel on campus. The event 
is open to the public, free of charge.
	Medieval music -- from the 13th through the 15th Centuries 
-- from England, France and Italy will be performed. Selections 
include dances and songs from castle and court, with  chants, masses 
and motets from cathedral and monastery.
	Instrumentalists will be playing instruments from the 
University's Emily Romer Collection, including an organetto, rebec, 
crumhorn, viol and lute.
