TWO TRUSTEES ELECTED TO SLU BOARD

CANTON -- The St. Lawrence University Board of Trustees 
has elected Caroline R. Hovey, of Boston, and Jo Ann Campbell, 
of Erie, Pennsylvania, as trustees. Hovey is a term trustee 
and will serve through 2005; Campbell is an alumni trustee and 
will serve through 2006. Both begin their service as trustees 
on July 1.
	Hovey is a vice president and director of marketing with 
Jennison Associates, an investment firm, in Boston. She earned 
her bachelor's degree and M.B.A. from Boston University and has 
served as a trustee of the Madeira School and the Brookwood School. 
Two of Hovey's children, Eliza and Katherine, are students at 
St. Lawrence.
	Campbell, a native of Prescott, Ontario, is chief financial 
officer for GE Transportation Systems in Erie. She graduated from 
St. Lawrence in 1986 and earned an M.B.A. from Notre Dame University. 
Campbell has worked in a variety of positions with GE in Canada and 
the U.S., and is involved in Big Sisters, Junior Achievement and 
other community activities.
	Both women have been involved in a variety of volunteer activities 
for St. Lawrence as well.
