One-Woman Show 'Dominatrix For Dummies' At SLU October 5
CANTON - A one-woman show called "Good Girls Guide: Dominatrix For Dummies," written and performed by Eleanor O'Brien, will be in St. Lawrence University's Edson R. Miles Blackbox Theatre on Friday, October 5, at 8 p.m. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
Described as "by turns raunchy, hilarious and heartwarming," the performance is autobiographical, with O'Brien talking about her about training to be a professional dominatrix in New York City. She portrays a wide variety of characters, from co-workers to clients, in the funny and graphic piece.
O'Brien will also present a workshop, on creating a solo show, on Thursday, October 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Room 109 of the E.J. Noble University Center. Also open to the public, free of charge, the workshop is for anyone who thinks they "have something to say, a story to tell or a character to introduce to the world."
