NATIVE AMERICAN BAND DECEMBER WIND TO PERFORM AT SLU

CANTON -- December Wind, winners of the Native American Music Award 
for best new band, will perform at St. Lawrence University on Wednesday, 
November 29, at 7 p.m. in Eben Holden. The concert, part of the University's 
celebration of Native American Awareness Month, is open to the public, free 
of charge.
	Members of the Mohawk tribe, December Wind records on Canyon Records. 
They are Atsiaktonkie (lead and background vocals, acoustic rhythm guitar), 
Terry Terrance (bass guitar, background vocals and calls), Randy Furnia (lead 
guitar, acoustic and electric rhythm guitars and background vocals), Darman 
Terrance (drum kit and native drums) and Donald Sharrow (electric and acoustic 
rhythm guitars, lead guitar and background vocals).
	Among their releases is the 1999 album Sacred Voices.
