PIANIST TO PERFORM IN RECITAL AT ST. LAWRENCE

CANTON - Marylene Dosse, of Pennsylvania State University, is the 
James W. Hutchison guest recitalist at St. Lawrence University for 
1999 and will perform in a recital on Sunday, March 7, at 4 p.m. in 
Gilbert Recital Hall, Griffiths Arts Center.
	Dosse will perform music of Chopin and Scriabin in the recital. 
In addition, she will work with students from the University's music 
department in a master piano class on Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m. in 
Gilbert Recital Hall. Both events are open to the public, free of 
charge.
	A native of France, Dosse studied at the Conservatory in Paris. 
She has been at the Pennsylvania State University for a number of years 
and has recorded commercially. Dosse also performed at St. Lawrence 
in 1996.
