EDWARD SAID LECTURE AT SLU CANCELLED; TO BE RE-SCHEDULED

CANTON – Due to illness, a lecture by Edward Said which was scheduled 
for Thursday, September 4, has been cancelled. The event will be 
rescheduled at a later date.
	Said, a seminal theorist on the relationship between culture and 
imperialism, was to have been the keynote speaker of the 2003 Hays and 
Margaret Crimmel Colloquium on campus.
